Biography

Abraham Falola is a Reader in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Farm Management of the University of Ilorin with 13 years of university teaching, research, and administrative experience.

He is the current Acting Head of his department. He has also served as a member of the University Admissions Committee, Certificate Screening Committee, and E-learning Committee, among others. His research works focus on agricultural production and welfare economics with an interest in productivity and efficiency analyses, digital agriculture, agricultural/nutrition security programmes, and the vulnerable group.

He has published over one hundred peer-reviewed articles in journals, edited conference proceedings, and book chapters. He has successfully supervised many Masters dissertations and Ph.D. theses. Dr Falola is a member of many professional bodies within and outside Nigeria. He is a consultant to many local and international agricultural development agencies.
